IPexpert Officially Launches CCVP to CCIE Voice 12-Month Power Program
IPexpert\'s CCVP to CCIE Voice 12-Month \"Power Program\" is designed to take the experienced CCNP-level engineer that is SERIOUS about accelerating his/her career into the VoIP space. In twelve intense months, this Power Program will take the candidate first through our 12-Day CCVP Boot Camp to get the CCVP certification completed. Then, with that knowledge attained, the student graduates into IPexpert\'s full product line of CCIE Voice preparation materials (read below for details). After working through these self-study tools, the student will attend our popular CCIE Voice 5-Day Boot Camp to polish the needed skills and expose any remaining weaknesses.
The Power Program is divided into three phases:
1. CCVP Instructor-Led Training
2. CCIE Voice Self-Study
3. CCIE Voice Instructor-Led Training
Course Prerequisites:
* At least 2 years hands-on experience with Cisco IPT. * Students should have passed the CCIE Voice Written exam and may already hold some of the IPT cerifications such as CCVP, IP Telephony Design Specialist, IP Telephony Operations Specialist, etc. * Student should complete at least 50% of IPexpert\'s Preparation Workbook prior to the course. * Students should be familiar with MOST of the following technologies: Call Manager, Unity, IPCC, Gatekeeper, Gateways, CME, SRST, AAR, Transcoding and Conferencing, Campus QoS configuration on 6548/3550 switches, WAN QOS configration on ATM and Frame-relay interfaces, Call Manager applications such as IPMA, Attendant Console, Extension Mobility. * Students should have strong troubleshooting skills.
Recommended Knowledge Possessed Prior to Training - Recommended Courses, Reading or Hands-on Experience on the Following Topics:
* Cisco Unified Communications System Administration (CUSA) * Cisco IP Telephony (CIPT) * Implementing Cisco Quality of Service * IPCC Express and IP-IVR Deployment (CRSD) v3.1 * Cisco Voice Over IP (CVOICE) * Advanced Services Cisco Call Manager MCS Boot Camp * Students are required to have the solid basic understanding of Voice over IP technologies, CallManager, CallManager Express, Unity and IPCC Express * Protocol: MGCP, H.323, SCCP * Basic understanding of Gatekeeper (RAS - Registration, Admission and Status) * Unity and CallManager integration, Unity administration, Call Handler configuration, optimization and system tuning. * CRA and CallManager provisioning, ICD configuration and intermediate level of scripting. * LAN/WAN Quality of Service * All of the CallManager and CallManager Express features * Solid troubleshooting skills
